Salary: INR 1.2 LPA to INR 1.8 LPA

Job Description:
Subtitling/Captioning Process:
Closed captioning is the process of displaying text on a television, videoscreen or other visual display to provide interpretive information to individuals who wish to access it. Closed captions typically show a transcription of the audio portion of a program as it occurs verbatim, sometimes including non-speech elements.
– Watching Hollywood movies and TV shows and other media content, documenting the conversation verbatim, and creating captions/subtitles for the same
– Need to use appropriate spellings/punctuation (US / UK)
– Listen to Hollywood videos and document the conversation verbatim
– Create captions/subtitles of videos for broadcast and DVDs
– Understand the guidelines given by the client for documenting the conversation
– Maintain quality and turn-around time

Skill Set Required:
– Excellent English grammar & vocabulary
– Good communication skills
– Good listening skills, familiarity with foreign accents
– Exposure to western culture
– Good typing/transcription skills
