In your new role you will:
Do product lifecycle management starting from product launch till product discontinuation, including portfolio streamlining and EOL management
Define pricing strategies and provide related guidance to regional marketing and sales.
Support negotiations of volume purchase agreements, including multi-year deals
Contribute to the quantitative part of the 5-year strategic plan including market modelling
Analyse the current demand and market situation as well as our revenues and forecast it mid- and long-term
Maintain the demand planning database and ensure the correctness and integrity of the entries done by your regional marketing colleagues
Be responsible for inventory management and worldwide sample management
Drive gap & risk analyses and find hidden potentials
Work closely with Product Marketing and Application Marketing for Product roadmap understanding and help execute the Go-to-Market activities for new products
Improve profitability within a defined product group
Create informative reports for top management discussions
You are best equipped for this task if you hav
A degree in the fields of business economics, business administration or comparable
More than 5 years of relevant experience in product planning and/or business analysis ideally in the semiconductor or electronics business
Proficiency with the MS Office package – especially Excel macros
A good knowledge of databases.
First experience with CRM and demand planning tools would be beneficial
In India a team of 200 people works on hardware and software development for automotive and chip card & security solutions.
