What you’ll be working on:
Producing content for our editorial adverts with the objective of driving growth in organic traffic to help increase revenue and achieve our company’s business goals.
Writing engaging content for email and other channels that glues our target audience to their screens and nudges them to take action
Collaborating with our team of seasoned account managers who interact with our institution partners for seamless content advert delivery
Updating standard style guides, specs documents for adverts, and training material for editorial products and adverts handled by team
Maintaining the editorial calendar to deliver and set timelines for content adverts based on priorities defined by sales and account managers
Creating content that is unique, engaging, accurate, and relevant and will win us a place on Google search result pages and in our customers’ and clients’ hearts!
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Solid communication skills- both written and verbal
Stellar writing and editing skills
Proven work experience as a content writer (2+ years)
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
Highly organised and efficient time management to meet deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail
And most importantly- an undying love for creating high quality content day in and day out.
What could give you the edge (but isn’t mandatory):
Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems
A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English Literature, Journalism, or equivalent
A portfolio of your published blog posts
If you’ve studied abroad then that would be a distinct advantage
Experience with online content tools
A sound knowledge of SEO and digital marketing
