Your Role and Responsibilities
As Technical Support Representative, you’ll make technical directions for Solution providing, configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing malfunctioning of Hardware related issues.
This role is an individual contributor responsible for on-site installation, maintenance and repair of IBM logo hardware, software and operating systems.
Primary technical interface to clients for the coordination of hardware and/or software support and delivery of operational services as required by the client.
Advise clients of preventive maintenance, configuration, operation and environmental factors which may impact product performance or impair client’s IT operation.
Perform services activities such as systems assurance, installation planning, account management, systems-level problem determination, discontinuance and relocation of IBM systems and products.
Accountable to ensure a high level of client satisfaction with service delivery, technical support and operational services for the client account(s).
When critical situations occur, will be the IBM technical interface to clients and manage the situation until the problem is fixed.
Needs to have a thorough understanding of, and are able to articulate, IBM’s technical support strategy. Experience on cloud , OSS , Redhat Linux will be preferred
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Min 4-5 years of experience with at least 2-3 years of experience in the following areas:
Hands-On Experience IBM Power Systems and storage
Experience in operation and Maintenance IBM Power Systems,AIX / Linux and Storage
Experience in implementation of IBM Power systems with AIX/ Linux
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
