Who You are
The Maximo MRO Inventory Support Team is looking for a customer facing, Support Intern.
This position provides the opportunity to work in a high growth area in AI Asset Management organization on the world class Maximo MRO IO SaaS application by providing remote support and resolution to customer issues.
What you will do
Product Support is vital for IBM clients to use and leverage IBM software to solve their business problems. It aims to bring problem resolution closer to the client and ensure a common, efficient, and streamlined process.
Roles and Responsibilities
The role provides technical support assistance directly (phone/email) to clients using problem determination and technical analytical skills. The role requires the use of technical and problem solving skills in collaboration with other support organizations to prioritize and work problems to resolution.
You will develop, document, and communicate action plans to clients and IBM teams as appropriate. Look for avenues to recommend/or implement new solutions or improvements to existing technical support tools, procedures, or processes.
Participate in department objectives such as building the knowledge base (writing technical tips and social media contributions), improving serviceability, and contributing to high customer satisfaction.
Main responsibilities (activities / tasks to be performed)
Support IBM end-user customers on IBM Maximo MRO Inventory Optimization
Build available Maximo MRO IO Knowledge base using technotes, blogs, technical sessions, and other social medias

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
A passion for customer support
Experience: Upto 3 years
Customer service skills with emphasis on written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
Communication skills are key. Ability to manage multiple customer situations concurrently being able to prioritize appropriately
Providing timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience with or knowledge of SQL
Operating Systems: Windows
Knowledge of Supply Chain, Inventory Optimization (or desire to learn)
English Skills: Fluent
