Your Role and Responsibilities

You Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for working with product owners, IT architects, software engineers and other stakeholders to clarify and document requirements/specs
Responsible for creating proof-of-concepts to demonstrate viability of solutions
Evaluate modern technologies to optimize network performance and efficiency
Actively participate in architectural reviews of changes to the network
Support pre-sales and service delivery teams with network related tasks
Communicating effectively and clearly with others
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
5+ years of experience with architecting or administrating WAN/LAN network systems
2+ years of experience with VMWare networking tools (NSX-T)
3+ years of experience architecting and documenting network solutions in one or more public clouds (GCP, AWS, Microsoft Azure, IBM Cloud),
Experience with software-defined networking (Overlay and NFV)
Experience with IPv4, IPv6, SR-MPLS SR-V6 EVPN etc. across a global distributed network
Strong understanding of L2/L3 switching and routing protocols
Experience with DMZ network infrastructure including topology, security policies, firewalls and the L2/L3 switch and router infrastructure
Experience with network security and design (including firewall and intrusion detection and prevention)
Familiar with Juniper and/or Cisco switches, routers and firewalls
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Familiar with Kubernetes or OpenShift
Familiar with scripting languages (e.g. shell scripting, python, perl, etc) to support network automation
Familiar with Ansible or Terraform
You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing, publications
