Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.
As part of the management team of the Global hub – as a GBS HR Team Lead – you are responsible for driving the delivery of the support services according to overall strategy, performance targets and customer expectations within agreed mandate, processes and corporate framework.
Responsibilities:
First line support for all HR IS solutions and queries locally in India; first contact person for all issues in India
Responsible for policy creation and management in cooperation with C&B team
Close cooperation with the Recruitment Team Lead and support Recruiters in India
Review and analyze errors, logs, complaints, etc. to proactively identify opportunities for process, people or technology improvement
Track and fulfil external legal or regulatory reporting requirements
Support Payroll, onboarding, audits and improvement initiatives
Lead and develop direct reports, ensure effective prioritization and allocation of workload and case handling in the team
Manage and cooperate with stakeholders such as HR Business Partners, process owners in Global HR, GBS HR in other countries and Hiring Managers
Liaise with plant HR Director on all subject related topics to GBS employees in India, ensuring the GBS HRBP is also involved/informed. Support onboarding, exit/leave, performance processes
Close cooperation with the Office Manager in India
Monitor and stay up to date on trends within compensation and benefits in India to ensure support to C&B Team in Hungary when it comes to this subject
Be the main contact and responsible for external providers in India within your role’s mandate
Play an active part of GBS India Management Team and GBS HR Global HUB Management Team to contribute as GBS HR Leader
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance or any related field. Equivalent work experience is also acceptable for the position
Minimum 7 years’ experience, preferably related to the processes in scope
Fluency in English
HR experience in compensation and benefits and reporting
Leadership experience and managing complex environment
Experience in project coordination on international level is desired; ability to coordinate and interact with different levels in the organization.
Experience in change management, driving improvements
Attention on details, natural ability to network with others, decision making and customer service orientation
Flexibility, problem solving ability, accountability, ownership, resilience, team work
Experience in communication and coordination of suppliers, partners
Experience with SAP HR/SuccessFactors is desired. The candidate must have exceptional computer skills and to be proficient in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Understanding of local regulations
Experience with Shared Services is a plus
