Full Job Description
ROLE PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for the GL functions like Bank reconciliations, fixed assets accounting, monthly reconciliations and month end closing, etc. following the rules of General Procedures and SOPs.
Key Objectives:
Performing bank reconciliations
Fixed assets accounting – capitalization, retirement, depreciation run
Intercompany reconciliations
Other Balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline
Month end journal entries – revaluation, adjustments, etc.
Payroll related accounting
Inventory related activities
Preparing process KPIs and other R2R reporting
Work Experience: 3 – 5 years in GL accounting
Education: Secondary school certificate specialized in finance and accounting.
Licensing/Certification: Chartered Accountant-is an advantage
Functional Knowledge: Knowledge of finance and accounting
Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of integrated financial software.
Preferred Qualification: B.Com/ M.Com/ MBA (Finance)/ CA
Skills required: Relevant experience; Strong process understanding
