Role Purpose:
IT COO BM Tech Team is looking for a technically skilled and capable DevOps resource to join us.
Principal responsibilities :
Primarily pure DevOPS Profile – you will be having Dual role of Delivery + Support.
Key member of IT COO BM Automation/Innovation team – responsible to Develop/Implement Automated Delivery Solutions using latest tools and technologies from market for Business Scenarios.
Mandated tasked of providing Delivery Solution to implement Straight Through Processing (STP) of all manual activity happening in IT COO BM.
Develop Delivery Pipeline Solutions for Automated Deployment of Software Developed by you.
You will also be part of the IT COO BM Tech Production Support team where you will provide Support to a group of applications. Responsibility include,
Incident Management
Service Request Management
Triage incidents across multiple teams at HSBC, conduct Post Incident Reviews (PIR) and provide management updates on action points.
Carry-out root cause analysis for production incidents.
Working with infrastructure groups to ensure that the service is managed across the entire application.
Configure monitoring tool in production environment and do active monitoring of production system
Qualification: BE or MCA from any Stream and recognized university.

Requirements
Very Strong programming knowledge of DB Technologies, Unix (including scripting), ETL Tools, SQL Server, Java or Dot NET & PL SQL
Understanding of IT COO front and back office process flows, including those from upstream and downstream systems will be good to have.
Mandatory knowledge of service management and service delivery processes, including development of service level agreements, Incident, Change and Problem Management.
Sound technical to business understanding
Experience of implementation of support tools and processes
Gain leverage from experience of other organisations’ support process to ensure that HSBC have a best of breed support group
Significant experience of global production support within a financial services environment.
