We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist
Principal responsibilities
WSIT Digital Platform team building future state micro service hosting platform for WSIT Services where we required SRE Lead to manage future state micro service hosting platform and existing Digital Platform Services based on DevSecOps Model.
Manage and Lead Platform Services as per SRE model.
Coordinate incident recovery activities for Service Impacting issue
Provide direction to engage teams such ITID, SQMs, Pods and non CMB IT support teams.
Monitor applications and platform to ensure tickets are being progressed by the SRE Engineer as per SLAs
Issue CMB Heads-up communication
Acts as real time incident escalation point for Platform team
Ensures bi-directional feedback between DevOps PODS teams and Platform team
Responsible for monitoring platform ops activities and plan support
Identify opportunities to automate / integrate within the Service Management processes
Qualifications
Requirements
Hands on delivery on Middleware tools and technologies – Mule, PCF, Jenkins etc.
Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux environments.
Hands-on experience with Splunk, Appdynamics and Jenkins tools.
Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve platform issues.
Knowledge of Production Support processes and procedures
Proficiency in JIRA (including service desk) and Confluence
Ability to adapt and understand new technologies.
Strong analytical skills.
This Role required strong understanding of existing WSIT Digital Services and Integration pattern with existing third party product and services.
Exposure / Knowledge of Project Management in Agile/DevOps environment.
Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.
Keeping the team members motivated and aligned in their work and ensuring quality results at each step within the support scope.
Familiarity with Incident / Problem / Change and Release Management procedures.
Knowledge of Banking Payment Systems and/or Banking Domain
