We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Automation Tester/Consultant Specialist to join a high performing development function.

Principal responsibilities

The Automation Tester will play a vital lead role in supporting and developing the quality assurance process across a cutting edge cloud based SaaS platform (Dynamic 365).

Lead the Automation Testing effort – Functional, Regression and Integration
Working closely with the Pods and BAs and apply analytical skills to understand the business requirement.
Working independently and as part of a team to design, develop, automate test cases and enhance and align with development activities.
Ensure traceability between requirements, product backlog items and test cases.
Understand data needs for testing, liaising with the PM/support teams and relevant parties for data, batch requirements.
Analysing and reporting test results
Assisting with root cause analysis if bugs/defects are identified
Disseminate knowledge to project team members
Participating in team retrospectives, proactively suggesting and implementing improvements.

Qualifications

Requirements

Good understanding of Automation Frameworks
In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with automation tools, ideally TOSCA, or something similar (e.g. Selenium, etc.,).
Knowledge of DevOps tools, ideally Microsoft Azure DevOps, or something similar (e.g. GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, Maven, Sonar Qube, etc.)
Analytical mind and problem solving skills
Good written and oral communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Experience in Financial Services
Understanding of Cloud and SaaS is desirable
