We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Project Manager

CMB Digital Channels is a major Service Line within CMB Technology, responsible for the technology channels to Commercial & Global Banking clients (‘HSBCNet’) & its underling payments / transactions engine (‘Connect’) as well as the internet & mobile platforms for Small to Medium Enterprises (‘Business Banking’).
Job Description:
The Associate IT Project Manager (ITPM) is responsible for end to end delivery of projects i.e from initiation to implementation. The ITPM must adhere to the HSBC agreed processes, methodologies and group standards. The ITPM must strive to deliver the assigned project within the agreed scope, budget timelines and with a high degree of quality. The ITPM is responsible for all project decisioning and must understand the business objectives as well as delivery constraints from Engineering and be able to strike a good balance between the two. The incumbent must have strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills to be able to face off tough business stakeholders and negotiate targets and outcomes that are realistic and benefit both business and IT.
The ITPM may need to double up as an Agile lead/ scrum master on one or more pods based on availabl bandwidth to help with the agile transformation using Digital ways of working. Follow direction provided by the Agile Coaches and attempt to scale up on the agile pod maturity level which will be measured using assessments.
