We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Manager, Business Banking HK, WMR Offshore, Kolkata
The Opportunity:
The aim of this job is to undertake underwriting for lending applications for Business Banking, to monitor the portfolio and to ensure existence and adequacy of control mechanism for borrowing requests from business banking customers of various branches in Hong Kong and sent for approval to Offshore. Credit scoring is used for both existing HSBC customers and businesses looking to open an account with HSBC for the first time. The underwriters will be required to carry out a structured, independent judgmental assessment of the applicant’s ability to repay the borrowing they have requested.
