Hotel Anand Palace is seeking a General Manager for the property located in Bhagsunag, Dharamshala.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Set financial goals and develop a commercial strategy.

• Deliver yearly financial budget covering sales forecast & expected profitability, and have operational expenses planned in detail.

• Responsible for managing ongoing profitability of the hotel, and ensuring revenue & customer satisfaction targets are being met.

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly variance analyses on sale, expense & profitability.

• Responsible for creating sales campaigns and hotel packages for future bookings adhering to financial goals.

• Development of an in-house sales strategy according to market trends.

• Responsible for all staff compliance in reporting within the Hotel’s Property Management System. Ensure compliance with individual HoD in the recording, tracking, and evaluation of Key Performance Indicators.

• Conduct daily HoD meetings with staff members ensuring that operational targets are being met.

• Manage staff and oversee that all departments are functioning accordingly.

• Oversee recruitment, training, and mentoring of staff.

Prerequisites

• Graduate in Commerce or Hospitality (Tourism).

• Prior experience in a General Manager or Operations Manager role.

• Experience working with Microsoft Office and Google Docs.

Salary: According to market rate and dependent on candidate experience. (Bonus applicable upon performance)
