Director of Global Quality Assurance
The Director of Quality Assurance will be responsible for design and implementation of HireRight’s Global Quality Initiatives (Control, Assurance processes) to drive high standards of compliance & operational excellence through standardized, best in class quality assurance initiatives. This role ensures that all functional deliverables to internal and external customers are met and exceeded and will lead a team of approximately 100
Responsible for designing and implementation of HireRight’s Quality Initiatives (Control, Assurance processes) to drive high standards of compliance & operational excellencePartner within Global Operations to implement Quality Management System across Ops teams; Assist with set up of SLA and continuously benchmark processes, baseline performance and target settingEstablish standardized Quality measurements, error management, Root cause – Corrective/Preventive action processes, Zero Tolerance approach in line with expectations as captured through key stakeholders (Operations, Compliance, Account Mgmt.)Define, consolidate and manage global resources under the Quality organizationDevelop and build organizational capability with our Vendors with respect to Qualitative performance including introduction of new processes through analysis and re-engineering, documentation and trainingProvide strong leadership and direction of the HireRight’s OpEx program with the charter to systematically re-engineer business processes (direct/indirect/SG&A) and resolve longer-term product delivery and support issues impacting Quality of the outcome.Work directly with key functional leaders, both internally and externally, managing the Quality Assurance program to ensure the QMS initiatives are executed using strong execution methodology with a focus on timely completion and delivery of expected resultsOwn the development of Quality framework/standards and ensure compliance to QMS across Internal & External Teams (BPO Partners)De-risk Operations; advise and influence business partners on key business decisions and major change initiativesDevelop process improvement strategy and work on planning and execution; Lead improvement projects using DMAIC and other six sigma methodologies like DFSS etc.Lead working sessions and participate in client presentationsOversees compliance and internal quality audit functions conducted on a regular basis within each unitMaintain comprehensive, up-to-date and relevant library of documentation in support of, and in compliance with ISO 9001Serve as the custodian of organizational Quality metrics including internal and customer SLA’s
Bachelor’s / Graduation / Equivalent (Specialization – HR Ops/Operations Mgmt preferred)Quality Management Certification/Project/Program Mgmt. Certification (Will be a plus)15 years related experience in Quality Management Roles
Proven track record in managing Quality Assurance & Improvement initiatives for large business/cross-functional teamsPrior experience in BGV industry (BG Screening) is strongly preferredHands-On experience with driving OpEx initiatives- Performance/Productivity8-10 years previous experience leading people on a global team

Scope of Impact:
Manages the financial and operational performance of a well-defined and specialty, functional area or sub-unit (e.g., a department within a Business Unit, a region for a large product line, a region within a major sub function, etc.).Provides leadership and direction through Vendor managersHas full responsibility for quality and quantity of work, motivating staff that does not necessarily report to them, methods, discipline, staffing decisions and varied and complex supervisory duties.
Executes departmental plans and contributes to the development of department strategies.Makes decisions guided by business unit or functional strategies that impact business unit or functional results.Determines, evaluates and modifies department goals to meet current and future needs.Directs the allocation of resources to meet financial and operational performance requirements.Addresses business issues which are beyond immediate needs or where established policies may be inadequate.
Leverages relationships with key internal/external customers to support business needs.Communicates highly complex ideas to multiple organizational levels.Negotiates with customer and/or organizational leadership to set priorities.Frequent interaction with other colleagues and senior customer representatives.Makes effective presentations to large and important groups, makes persuasive arguments to convince key customers to take action, and/or negotiates effective solutions between key individuals.
