Full Job Description
As our FUSION Learning & Development Manager you’ll lead, plan and deliver our FUSION learning and development programme to achieve project deliverables and metrics.
We are flexible on location for this role but travel to our support centre in Redditch plus travel across the estate – particular Colchester and Halifax will be required at times.
Initial 6 months Fixed Term Contract
Key Accountabilities
Project manage our FUSION learning and development programme.
Create robust project plans through effective project scoping ensuring all elements of the colleague lifecycle are considered.
Ensure project goals are met and executed by working with SMEs and key stakeholders across operational and support functions
In close collaboration with the programme office ensure the training workstream is delivering against the overall programme
Ensure that deliverables are on track and governed accordingly
Create/source and deliver innovative and project relevant learning solutions that meet the FUSION scope and learning requirements
Through great teamwork and role modelling demonstrate and live our Halfords values and support drive engagement.
Key Skills/Experience
Experience of leading, developing and implementing customer experience and/or solutions selling training programmes
Good working knowledge of systems and product knowledge training
Good written and spoken communication and be accurate and confident when dealing with data. Strong commercial acumen with excellent questioning and analytical skills which are critical in adding value to the business
A highly customer centric approach with a proven track record of tenacious delivery, and demonstrable business understanding ensuring that the People Development Team plays a pivotal role in delivery of business goals
Experience of leading single projects to improve business performance, employee capability and engagement
Experience of working with cross-functional teams
Good systems experience – IT literate
Demonstrates a proactive and determined approach to deliver results
Excellent presentation, influencing and facilitating skills
Adept at prioritising in a fast-paced and complex environment
