Goldman Sachs Hiring for Full Stack Software Engineer – Louisa at Bengaluru, Karnataka Full Time

We are looking for a full-stack software engineer with a passion for building high quality, reliable solutions who will help power Louisa to become a key SaaS offering in the GS Financial Cloud. It is crucial to supplement our team with energetic and different minded developers who can execute and deliver solutions, as we have already lost analysts and our tech lead VP. Without filling this position, we risk losing to the competition and missing our opportunity to deliver to our users and clients on time, redefining how organizations navigate the collaborative intelligence of their people. This hire is critical in maintaining our consistent pace of our product delivery to ensure we’re meeting our user needs and our OKRs.The candidate will need to interface with engineering leads, product managers, research, and users, and thus will enable significant efficiencies by being co-located with these key stakeholders for face-to-face interactions. Local representation is needed to ensure better connectivity with our key stakeholders, and to allow the team in the region to run as an autonomous team, taking responsibility for delivering various features of the product. Louisa is an initiative born out of recognition that the firm can improve its client experience by enabling our employees to find and connect with the right institutional expertise on-demand. Partnering with colleagues from various areas within Core Engineering and the business, Louisa aims to help the firm serve clients more holistically. As an engineer on the Louisa team, you will have the opportunity to: Work on a strategic platform used by all divisions across the firm. Interact directly with the business and other tech teams to build innovative solutions to support the GS business. Play a big part in design and implementation in a team oriented environment. Be proactive in your approach, managing both daily tasks and a project role.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Responsive web development, with React or Angular experience and display proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of core design concepts, common APIs and design patterns.
- Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Ability to solve problems and apply analysis to make data driven decisions.
- Experience in working with large software systems, cloud services, and databases (SQL and NoSQL).
- Can apply an entrepreneurial approach and passion to problem solving and product development.
- Programming in JVM languages such as Java/Kotlin/Scala.
- Experience of test-driven development, hands on experience with testing frameworks such as Junit and a sound understanding of SDLC processes.
- Experience with JavaScript Frameworks such as Angular 2+, Vue.js, or React JS
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment
- Experience with API driven development (e.g. Restful, Graph QL)
Preferred Qualifications
