About the Role
Do you imagine the driving impact for more than a million merchants across Southeast Asia? Fasten your helmet and climb aboard if you’re ready to be our QA in the Merchant Platform. In this role, you will be an integral player in the Merchant Platform team based in India (Gurugram). You will be responsible for driving one of the multiple streams on our GoBiz pod (Merchant facing Apps) that have a strong influence on merchant delight. Honestly, we cannot emphasize enough the importance of the work done by this team.
What You Will Do
Drive the end to end release process for mobile apps across multiple platforms with all the associated teams, including planning, execution, & post release monitoring
Collaborate with all stakeholders and participants in the release to ensure that the plan, timeline and deliverables are meeting the set expectations
Create from scratch or significantly Improves automation code structure and framework architecture in terms of maintainability, execution speed, review, and coverage
Writes, co-writes, and reviews test design/plan documentation
Drives the design/code review process for test automation, seeking and providing constructive feedback
Accountable for ensuring that their squad has strong sets of documentations and journals of how their test design and architecture/product evolves over time
Lead the effort of planning projects, split the complex initiatives into smaller tasks in both team and cross-team initiatives
Mentor other engineers on an individual basis and guide them with their career development
What You Will Need
At least 6 years of experience in Quality Automation and 2-3 years of leading QA team of 4-6 QAsSolid understanding of the Release Engineering process and around 2-3 years of experience in driving and setting up the Release process for Mobile Apps
Experience in working with Web, Mobile, and API Testing in both manual & automation testing, test methodologies, and principles
Well-versed with a programming language (preferably JAVA).
Should be comfortable working on any of these Selenium, Cucumber BDD, Appium, RestAssured, SQL, TestNG, CI/CD pipelines, Postman , Mocking tools
Experienced with tools such as Git, Jira, Maven/Gradle & Test case management tool Solid analytical & problem-solving skills and experience of working in an Agile environment
Great interpersonal and communication skills as needs to closely work with remote teams spread across multiple countries

Our Merchant Platform team is a family of around 230+ people based across Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and India consisting of various roles ranging from products, engineering, design, research, program management, operation, go to market and business & strategy roles.
We are the team who is building products and services that enable merchants to manage their Food delivery orders, accept payments, manage offline orders through a POS and much more through a merchant app called GoBiz and various backend APIs products. The gist of our role is to create an ecosystem of solutions to support millions of our merchants in the GoTo ecosystem to better manage and grow their businesses, while enabling both internal and external product stakeholders to develop merchant-based solutions in a sustainable manner. We are also the team inside of GoTo company who carries the responsibility to be the voice of Merchants to internal GoTo company and to drive continuous improvement related to product, process and organization so we can collectively deliver high quality products and services to our merchants.
