Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant – PMO
In this role, Building PMO processes and ensure governance models and principles are actively documented, promoted and implemented effectively all projects / program
Responsibilities!
Work with the IT Project Manager and contribute to managing the various projects and applications
Own and management alignment to the firms Software Development Framework (CS-SDF).
Manage resource allocations, financials and risks for the global projects.
Playing a key role in supporting the book of work planning
Contribute to the design and documentation of IT systems
Work effectively with team members in other locations situated globally
Building PMO processes and ensure governance models and principles are actively documented, promoted and implemented effectively all projects / programs
Work with other project managers, business analysts, developers and senior stakeholders
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
BE /B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA
Preferred qualifications
Experience in IT project management / PMO
IT background (Application and/or Systems Engineering)
Hands-on knowledge on standard IT Project Management fundamentals
Experience in supporting project managers
Experience in Change management project/program deliveries in complex environments
Experience in banking or financial services is a plus
Experience in Agile is an advantage
High competency in MS office suite – Excel, Power point, Visio in particular
Experience in designing and tracking project plans
Experience in developing project plans, WBS, resource charts, status reports and various other project dashboards targeted at different levels to stakeholders
Experience in task tracking tools like JIRA
Excellent communication and presentation skills with high power of abstraction to adapt the communication to various stakeholders (professional working proficiency in English)
Open-minded team player, enthusiastic and motivated personality with a can-do attitude and a track record of solving complex challenges
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment is essential
The candidate should have an IT background
A team player and a self-starter, who can proactively engage with the project manager and other colleagues / peers
Ability to foster a cooperative work environment and adapt style to ensure the project is successful
Enthusiastic, open, motivated personality with a proven “can-do” attitude and a track record of solving complex challenges
Around 7 years of experience
Help PMs and leads in several areas like recruitment, allocations, timesheets, etc.
Adhoc support on headcunt, KPI reporting, coordinating with different PMs (Poland, NYC, Raleigh)
Leads across multiple regions
Good understanding of excel, vlookup, pivots, etc.
Working hours: 10 AM – 7:30 PM (some overlap with US hours)
