The Staff Technical Project Manager- Vendor Management will provide vendor management leadership for GE Healthcare Digital Technology organization, collaborating with global cross functional teams, Healthcare sourcing and external suppliers. In this role you will drive operational rigor & own vendor engagements including wing-to-wing approvals, documentation and negotiations.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
In this role you will,
Own contractual formulation process and negotiation to establish the right cost for a given business/IT outcome
Development, simplification and control of processes and procedures to ensure effective compliance to organizational policies and goals
Manage the PSR (Purchased Services Request) queue, adhering to turn around times. Prioritize and communicate status of requests to VM Focals and engagement owners
Own professional services contract (Statement of Work) content and structure with a focus on outcomes including penalty and rewards
Unwavering commitment to sourcing guidelines & compliance rules with all supplier interactions and contracts
Drive cost out by negotiating rates and terms with vendor partners, while maintaining business quality standards
Manage vendor selection RFP process including Q&A sessions, proposal evaluation, pricing auctions, negotiations and stakeholder management
Review, analyze and drive simplification & training for the contractor onboarding process
Manage GE /Supplier dispute resolutions
Analyze GE Healthcare IT outsourcing data to identify trends, opportunities and risks
Communicate policy, strategy and compliance changes to Digital Technology leadership and Vendor Management CIO Focals
Influence stakeholders and vendor partners to align with GE Healthcare Digital Technology outsourcing strategy
Develop & lead specific projects as directed by DT strategy
Leverage and implement industry best practices and standards related to outsourcing
Ensure conformance to all applicable GE standards policies and guidelines
Education/Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university and at least 8+ years of work experience in sourcing/procurement.
Very strong organizational and communication (both verbal and written) skills
Strong influencing & collaboration skills
Knowledge and capability to use the tools, processes, and best practices for predicting business trends and providing forecasts that drive business decisions and planning.

Strong technical acumen, knowledge of software development process and tools
