Grid Software, a business until within the GE Vernova’s Electrification Software business, provides mission critical software, GridOS®, to global utilities to help them deliver reliable, sustainable, and affordable energy. We are looking for a Sr. Marketing Manager, Content to join our global team. This pivotal role will be responsible for developing both customer-facing and internal content that supports Grid Software’s transformation to a product-focused organization. As a content strategist and creator, you will craft compelling narratives, across various platforms, to support our customers lifecycle and journey to adopt the GridOS portfolio. You will adapt these narratives for our internal teams through a variety of channels so they can confidently engage with our customers and partners. The ideal candidate identifies as a storyteller who’s passionate about technology and masterful at communicating complex information in simple, creative ways. As a member of the design and creative services team, you will collaborate with GridOS portfolio, product, and regional marketing teams as well as senior leadership and site leaders to ensure GridOS content is reaching our customers and enabling our customer-facing teams. Roles & Responsibilities
Develop strategic editorial calendars and content, across channels and formats, to support external and internal audiences.
Create messaging for account-based sales and marketing plays and develop content across channels to support the acquisition of new customers and increase customer adoption.
Establish and manage the content development process within the digital and creative services team. Balance your time as a writer while editing and proofing external resources writing.
Write and edit executive-level documents/presentations that will be shared with customer’s C-suite and internal leadership teams.
Assemble weekly executive briefing book highlighting GridOS portfolio momentum across product launches, new business won, customer go lives, partners, acquisitions, and more.
Be an internal resource on GridOS content for other functions across the business
Participate and/or lead messaging and content development for special projects and initiatives as directed
Skills And Experience
10+ years’ experience content strategy and development for a B2B software business
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field
Superb writing, editing, and proofing skills; portfolio demonstrating skills and content to support product launches, campaigns, thought leadership
Ability to storyboard messaging for internal presentations, internal videos.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Results-oriented, highly-autonomous self-starter with a focus on measurable impact.
Project management, managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
Self-directed with strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Proficiency with MS Office including/especially PowerPoint
Desired Characteristics
Experience working in a large matrixed organization a plus.
Experience collaborating with executives
Experience with designing and publishing sites on SharePoint Online is a plus.
Understanding of relevant industry market trends, including regulatory, legal and technology needs
