Your responsibilities

Maintain proper record for all the enquiries, offers submitted and orders received.

Coordinate with the Customer to understand the scope.

Interdepartmental coordination to gather information on materials, labor, and other factors for estimation.

Identifying and quantifying all cost factors involved in the scope.

Coordination with buyers to arrange budgetary offers for the components required.

Coordinate to keep him/herself updated with Forex movement and commodity prices.

Use the software developed to calculate cost estimates.

Prepare proposal and submit within the timelines.

Prepare and provide budget against every order.

Organize kick off meetings on receipt of orders for discussion on scope, budget, and delivery.

Create Sale Order in ERP.

What you bring

In depth knowledge of casting, fabrication, and machining processes.

High level mathematical skills.

Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Education Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / Production Engineering from a reputed University.

Experience

5 – 10 years of experience in heavy equipment manufacturing industry with 4+ years of experience in cost estimation role.
