About the team

North City Logisitics Design team is responsible for designing supply chain with respect to first & last mile deliveries. Our role is to Create feasible, reliable & scalable capabilities in a financially viable manner through structured problem solving and design thinking with the purpose to “delight customers” for long-term business sustenance.

Our primary focus is on building long-term sustainable structural capabilities with a 6 months to 3-year view. Translate customer needs into problem statements with a short-, medium- and long-term lens (building long-term sustainable structural capabilities)

We essentially work on – Speed, Cost, Reliability & Experience across Flipkart

What you’ll do:

• Work on services / solutions that help improve the Supply Chain Speed, Cost, Reliability, Consistency for City Logistics

• Understand the as-is business processes and diagnose issues

• Work closely with stakeholders to identify and analyse these business processes and workflows.

• Sharply define areas of improvement in these work processes, arrive at actionable insights

• Conduct pilots to prove the POC and work with cross functional teams to create capabilities to implement structural solutions

• Documentation of process and workflows (highlighting execution plan, risks, input, output and success metrics)

• Development of clear and detailed process maps and business requirements

• Support the Domain experts to ensure process changes are documented & understood by all relevant stakeholders and executed through, to completion

• Continuously challenge the existing operations and processes with a view to improve operating and service performance and promote cost effectiveness and increased profitability

• Liaison with multiple design / product / tech / category teams and external stakeholders for project execution and alignment

What skills you’ll need:

• Team/people management skills

• Analytical (Data Interpretation; Analysis-Power BI, R) and Problem-solving skills

• Thorough proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

• Program Management; Design thinking

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

• Knowledge of supply chain design concepts and its importance

• Comfortable in working in unstructured environments and fast timeline

• Prior experience in process designing, supply chain management

• Team player with strong ability to drive self and team

• Excellent presentation, organizational, planning, execution skills

Desired Qualification:

Candidate with 6-9 years of experience, BTech/MBA preferred from Tier-1 college

(Preferably in Strategy & Operations Consultancy, Logistics, Design, Operations excellence, Last mile)
