FIS currently has an excellent opportunity for Fixed Assets accounting group. This position will have an active role in day to day activities which includes Accounting for all Capex Invoices, Analysis of Capital Work in Progress account, Sub Ledger Clearing Accounts, Fixed Assets Cost and Accumulated accounts, preparation of all the Blackline reconciliations monthly as per the defined standards set by Corporate for reconciliations.. Also, coordinate with various business and corporate teams on issues directly associated with products groups. FIS is a highly dynamic, fast-paced organization. What you will be doing This position works with sales and pre-sales to: identify the appropriate managed services solution; provide presentations and technical details around solution; respond to RFI’s and RFP’s around the managed services provided; assist with pricing solutions; and, assist with contract negotiations around SLA’s, discounts and other related managed services items. Job Description:
Perform all Capital Accounting day to day activities which includes Accounting for all Capex Invoices.
Maintenance and validation of all the daily trackers maintained for daily work allocation and control of activities.
Creation and validation of:
Assets created in Oracle
Journal entries prepared.
Sub ledger reports.
Analysis of Capital Work in Progress account, Sub Ledger Clearing Accounts, Fixed Assets Cost and Accumulated accounts.
Working on and tracking of all ad-hoc requests received for action.
Monitoring of all the generic mail boxes to ensure that all the emails are actioned promptly.
Preparation of all the Blackline reconciliations monthly as per the defined standards set by Corporate for reconciliations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Completion of Capex Accounting process activities as per defined SLA’s
Creation and validations of Assets created through Mass Additions lines and Quick Additions as per applicable SOX and process controls
Display proactive approach in planning for all the daily work allocation received in our queue
Timely update all relevant process documents with recent changes and additions in the process and get the same reviewed by Process lead.
Timely updation of process related logs and trackers
Timely completion of weekly / fortnightly / Monthly assigned activities
Supporting Internal / External Financial Audits & Controls.
Ability to build impactful customer relationship.
Highly motivated and capable of working on own initiative
Knowledge / Experience
Has good knowledge of Fixed Asset Accounting including tangible and intangible assets.
Conversant with Accounting standards like IAS 16 (PPE), IAS 36 (Impairment of Asset), IAS 38 (Intangible asset) and US-GAAP ASC 350, 360 .
Ready to work in stretched shifts for timely completion of deliverables
Ability to deliver output under pressure with accuracy and eye for detail
Demonstrates flexibility in response to changes in the process
Possess sound decision making skills and multi-task while working in an environment of stress with tight and specific deadlines
Earns the trust and respect of colleagues, customers, and stake holders

Good MS-Office skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree/MBA/M.Com in Accounting or related discipline with 1 to 3 years of experience.
CA/ICWA Inter is preferred.
