Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support: Provide first-line technical support to employees, resolving hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
• System Maintenance: Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot IT systems, including servers, workstations, printers, and networking equipment.
• User Management: Assist in the creation and management of user accounts, access permissions, and authentication for various systems.
• Software Installation: Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems on user devices.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, system configurations, and support requests.
• Inventory Management: Track IT assets, including hardware and software inventory, and assist in procurement and asset management.
• Network Administration: Support network administration tasks, including monitoring network performance and assisting in network configuration changes.
• Security Practices: Assist in implementing security protocols and best practices to protect company data and IT systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 0-2 years of experience in IT support, administration, or a related field (internships or co-op experience considered).
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff and vendors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IT ticketing systems and remote support tools.
