The Manager, Implementation is responsible for providing initiative and leading the implementation team. Ensures application of systems thinking principles allowing team members to independently design, configure, test, and deploy applications. Provide the necessary documentation to support the application implementation. Apply modern principles, methodologies, tools, and systemic processes to support the launch new launch new business capabilities. Lead the resolution of complex problems. Mentor development of those in less senior positions.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage at least 10 full time exempt direct reports. Management responsibilities include, but are not limited to hiring, coaching, skill development, recognitions and rewards, staff productivity and performance management to include disciplinary actions up to and including termination.
Provide leadership and initiative in a team environment.
Manage FSC IS team members based on individual roles and job responsibilities including project management related to both external implementations and internal strategic or change based initiatives.
Ensure that appropriate tools/processes are leveraged, and effective communication and support is provided throughout the process.
Train and mentor team associates on solutions and best practice in support of implementations and continuous improvement.
Assist with analysis of customer or operational requirements and solution design.
Provide subject matter expertise in development of system requirements and Concept of Operations.
Participate in integration meetings with prospects/clients to determine system requirements and specifications relative to integration mapping and product configuration.
Translate client/business requirements into system requirements, implementation specifications and logical data mappings for integration.
Partner with FSC ops/engineering to translate Concept of Operations into solution configuration.
Document applicable Functional Requirement Specification as necessary for enhancements to core products to meet scope of proposed solution.
Configure SCM applications based on solution design and Concept of Operations.
Assist in the development of test plans, data and cycles to ensure that all requirements identified in the requirements gathering phase will be validated. Manage IS aspects of testing, training, implementation and support of system requirements.
Participate in on-site (off-shore) implementation and client interaction to ensure delivery of business requirements.
Promote and deliver project documentation to standardize and support Implementation / CI initiatives
Ensure all customer and business process enhancement requests are aligned with the scope of the core system.
Review of corporate software documentation for adherence to product integrity/configurability and functional requirements .
Lead the resolution of complex problems.Escalate issues to Senior Manager level as required.
Communicate effectively, manage conflict amongst team members, and remove impediments.
Provides guidance to less experienced personnel.
Works under little to no supervision.
Other duties as assigned or requested.
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in related Logistics, Supply Chain or Business Management / Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems and/or equivalent training in related field preferred and 15 years of relevant experience.
In lieu of degree, high school diploma or GED and 10 years of relevant experience.
Minimum 15 years’ experience working with supply chain products including warehouse management systems, transportation management systems, order management systems and/or Enterprise Application Integration tools. MA WMOS required. BY(JDA) WMS experience is good to have.
Ten (10) years of management experience desired.
Minimum 2 full lifecycle implementation of WMOS in a multi-tenet environment. Minimum 2 years of Operations’ experience in the field of warehousing/transportation services (desired / good to have).
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Basic understanding of and willingness to learn and adopt professional and industry standards.
