About the role
Exotel is currently looking for an experienced Agile Project Manager to come and join one of our growing program delivery teams. This role will be responsible for medium-large scale projects and will be involved in some of the most exciting projects we have ever had. A strong understanding of Agile (Scrum or SAFe) is essential, as is extensive experience delivering software projects. See below a summary of some of the key responsibilities:
Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.
Provide day-to-day customer liaison and be responsible for relationship management, project management, and delivery
Manage a pipeline of multiple complex projects and workstreams, ensuring teams are working to fully agreed resource allocation levels
In conjunction with the associated senior staff, matrix management of a team of developers, testers, and business analysts involved in developing and maintaining processes for efficient delivery of software to customers
Manage the delivery of change through the Agile scrum processes
Escalate issues, where appropriate, including potential business opportunities
Prepare internal and customer reports
Identify and manage risks
Collaborate with other Project Managers, exchanging ideas, working on improvements of the process both within the immediate team and across the company
Financial management, including project creation, time tracking, and month-end processes to support the finance department
Ability to explain technical concepts/flows to a non-technical audience
Empathy
Build strong relationships and collaborate with a diverse team containing engineering, support, sales, customer happiness, product, and business stakeholders

What we look for?
B.E./B.Tech from leading institutions across India
PMP, Prince 2, CSM, PSM-1 or equivalent certification(s)
Between 12-15 yrs of experience in IT, Project Management, Delivery Management, etc.
4+ yrs of Hands-on experience in managing Agile projects across India and other geographies
Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools:
Agile Project Management tools such as Jira/Greenhopper, Rally, VersionOne or equivalent
Microsoft Project, Project 365, Smartsheet, Visio, and all Office Tools
Strong experience in a fast-paced software development environment with proven use of Agile (scrum) development and knowledge of waterfall methodologies
Flexibility and the ability to respond to rapidly changing situations
Proven experience running large or multiple scrum teams
Proven experience managing project budgets
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with a desire to drive continuous improvement through the project lifecycle
Excellent people management skills and the ability to demonstrate stakeholder management responsibilities.

Must have experience managing multiple projects in parallel
