Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology is the global technology department
responsible for the design, development, delivery and support of the technical
solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth
Management (MSWM) business.
Morgan
Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology works with large scale databases
such as DB2 and SQL Server, proprietary and non-proprietary messaging software,
a broad variety of vendor products, numerous financial exchanges and regulatory
entities, and programming languages ranging from .Net and Java to Cobol and
VB.Net.
Core
Technology Services (CTS) partners with Wealth Management development teams and
partner technology organizations to enable the delivery of technology solutions
to our business in the most efficient, predictable manner possible
Role Description
As a
Technical Leader in WM CTS you’ll have a chance to be part of Testing COE and
work on a broad set of technologies; Deliver Test Automation solutions, build
and maintain test automation frameworks, maintain KPIs/metrics, perform quality
audits, validate regression penetration and coverage and provide support to
testing across entitlements, workstation and back-office settlement services.
You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with other leaders and teams
supporting testing and nurture them with the valuable offerings developed by
the team.
Responsibilities
• 18+ years’ of work experience with strong expertise in Devops, Agile, QA and Test automation in a large financial service organization or major consulting organization.
• 10+ years of experience of leading large-scale QA programs. Experience in collaborating effectively across a variety of IT and business groups, across regions, roles, and able to interact effectively with all levels.
• Experience in QA and test automation deliveries for a broad range of application types e.g. Browser, desktop, mobile, APIs, DB etc.
• Must have experience on Test Automation tools and frameworks evaluations, POC and R&D.
• Proven record of execution of QA strategy and unification of QA processes across organization.
• Must have hands-on experience with Java.
• Good to have hand on experience on JavaScript, C#/.NET etc.
• Working knowledge of any Relational Database and DB Queries.
• Exposure and experience working with varied technologies like .NET, Angular, WPF, Mainframe etc.
• Must have working knowledge of DevOps Principles and Practices (CI, CD, Continuous Testing, etc.).
• Working knowledge of tool and technologies like TeamCity, Jenkins, GIT, JIRA, ALM.
• Well versed with approaches like BDD, Keyword Driven and Data Driven test automation.
• Good to have understanding of model-based testing.
• Understanding of Agile/Waterfall development process and is comfortable diving into the technical architecture of complex and highly scalable solutions.
• Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Experience in presenting to diverse audiences and conducting education and training.
• Experience with project management tools & functions & Development background is helpful.
