If you’re an Operations leader and looking to be a part of growing business with challenging career, then this role could be a fit for you. As part of Global restructure we are looking to hire a Deputy Operations Director to lead India BPO operations (Offshore) based in our Bangalore office.
EQ India Operations team work closely with the EQ Group functions across UK and US to provide operations support to below business functions.
Our Indian operation has C500 (growing) people performing the following tasks across Chennai and Bangalore offices.
Shareholder Solutions – UK & US
Employee Benefit Solutions
Customer Experience Centre – UK and US (Call centre)
Bank and Custody reconciliations
Innovation – Centre of excellence for process automation and improvement.
The Successful duties & responsible be;
Ultimately accountable to Operations Director EQ India on operational delivery and performance against agreed metrics for Bangalore Location.
Responsible to act as the site lead for Bangalore Location.
Providing Leadership and people management capability to EQ India operations. This will include the effective workforce planning, management of resources and identifying areas for growth as well as effectively managing succession and key person risk.
Relationship management with key stakeholders globally and client liaison as required.
Effective project management, review and approval of operational transformation and major functional changes.
Encourage & Nurture best class people practices including a Performance driven approach, Succession Planning & Career Development, Training & Development, D&I & Employee retention.
Ensuring that the overall costs are in line with the Budgets set yearly and reviewing cost movements closely from an operational perspective.
Ensuring and effective BCP and Disaster recovery strategy is in place and regularly tested against changes in services as appropriate.
Ensure effective Risk Management and associated processes are implemented and closely monitored.
Accountable for ensuring operations team meets all applicable regulatory and compliance requirements in line with Group best practice standards.
As the successful you would require to possess;
Strong leadership qualities, acting as a role model to the team and other colleagues;
Proven management capability, setting clear targets and expectations for the team;
Previous experience of managing a wide variety of stakeholders;
Working Knowledge in AML, KYC, Transaction monitoring will be advantageous
Knowledge and experience of Financial Markets
ICSA or IAQ qualification including “Compliance” module (must be achieved within 1 year of appointment). This is a team specific requirement
