We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and proactive Technical SEO/SEM Specialist to support our SEO/SEM strategy with an emphasis on site speed, technical SEO work and SEM campaigns optimization.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop optimisation strategies that increase our search engine results rankings
· Track and suggest improvements to the Core Web Vitals metrics
· Monitor redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and other KPIs
· Regularly review technical SEO issues and implement fixes, such as schema markups and image compressions
· Perform half-yearly site audits to identify technical SEO issues and suggest improvements
· Work with SEO Content Specialist to drive content syndication strategies
· Utilize heatmap and recording tools to identify site improvements
· Identify backlink opportunities and implement link building activities
· Perform A/B or multivariate tests on landing pages and analyze findings
· Support marketers with paid search and paid social campaigns, especially on reporting and analysis using tools like Google Data Studio
· Work closely with in-house web developers to ensure necessary technical architecture is in place
· Provide ongoing training to the marketing team on best practices and content optimization, and assist with keyword research and reporting needs
· Stay up to date with the latest SEO / digital marketing trends and best practices
Requirements
· Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
· Solid grasp of HTML/CSS and an understanding of how JavaScript affects SEO
· Familiarity with SEO tools, such as SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs or SimilarWeb
· Expertise with SEO in an eCommerce / business-to-business environment
· Familiar with Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Page Speed Insights and Google Optimise
· Logical and analytical thinking to generate insight and recommendations from multiple sources of data
· Demonstrated experience in presenting campaign results and communicating campaign needs to stakeholders
· Ability to identify opportunities within ad platforms and communicate recommendations for adoption
· Experience in running Google Ads scripts including QS tracking and Auction Insights tracking (nice to have, not a must)
· Strong written and verbal communications skills – copywriting experience will be a huge plus, but not mandatory
