Detailed Description:
Lilly Capability Center India provides a strategic advantage to Lilly through research, development, and deployment of modern and positively disruptive capabilities. Members of the LCCI application development team will contribute to the modernisation of Lilly IT Systems by researching, developing, and deploying capabilities across business areas aligning with Lilly Enterprise Architecture principles related to modern application design.
A QA engineer is responsible for the creation of tests to identify issues with software before the release.
Position Description:
The Global Services Solutions IDS Team supports company critical solutions that enable our Global Services business partners, e.g. Legal, GT and Ethics and Compliance, to support and protect Lilly’s most essential assets. This position will be responsible for the support, development, and maintenance of our GT Application.
Key Responsibilities:
Design independent test cases for each newly developed application.
Provide feedback to developers about automated testing strategies, design fixes, and patches.
Perform system load tests for new products.
Work with quality representatives to document the quality processes.
Manage testing projects during each phase, according to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Make improvements to functionality, design, and usability of new products.
Required Experience:
6+ years’ experience as a Software Tester.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Experience with JavaScript testing using frameworks such as Protractor, Mocha, and Cucumber.
Hands-on experience with functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, mobile testing, big data testing, cross platform testing, component testing, security testing, performance testing, UI/UX testing.
Desirable Skills:
In addition to JavaScript-based development, additional desirable skills include understanding of technologies such as:
Data services such as Postgres, Redis, Cassandra/Mongo
Queuing services such as RabbitMQ and Kafka
API and Microservice concepts such as Swagger
Authentication/Identity concepts such as oAuth flows and OpenID Connect
Amazon Web Services
Salesforce.com
Elasticsearch
React and React Native or Vue.js
