Area Sales Manager Job Description1) Meets regional sales objectives by forecasting manpower requirements, preparing an annual sales plan,and initiating corrective actions.
2) Meeting Daily/Weekly/Monthly sales targets
3) Strong follow-up for Outstanding payments and meeting payment Deadlines
4) Identify hiring needs as per traget,territory,select and train new salespeople in his zone and track them for proper sales target achievement
5) Maintains and expands the customer base by counseling district sales representatives, building and maintaining rapport with key customers, and identifying new customer opportunities.
6) Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions
7) Prepare monthly and quarterly sales s and submit your findings and analysis to senior management
8) Serve as the one point of contact with SS, distributors in your region
9) Inform senior management of any discrepancies or issues with sales team goals and results
10) Need to maintain optimum ratio of SO/SR in his zone to achieve given targets
11) Keeping up to date with various products and competitors and ing to the senior management at HO
