Job Description: Senior HR Executive
Position Overview:
As a Senior HR , you will play a critical role in managing the human resources function within the organization.
You will lead a team of professionals and collaborate closely with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that align with the company’s goals and objectives. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the full range of HR activities, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and HR compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Planning: Partner with senior management to develop and execute HR strategies that support the organization’s overall business objectives. Align HR initiatives with the company’s vision, mission, and values.
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment: Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain high-quality talent.
Develop effective sourcing strategies, create job descriptions, conduct interviews, and collaborate with hiring managers to make informed hiring decisions.
Performance Management: Design and implement performance management systems, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback processes.
Provide guidance and coaching to managers on performance-related matters and assist in addressing performance issues.
Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a respectful and inclusive work environment.
Im0plement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and productivity.
Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of compensation and benefits programs.
Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation practices and manage employee benefits programs.
HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes in labor laws, update HR policies and procedures accordingly, and educate managers and employees on HR compliance matters.
Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate the development and delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
Support career development and succession planning initiatives.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data to drive continuous improvement in HR practices.
HR Policies and Procedures: Maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
Ensure policies are communicated effectively, implemented consistently, and compliant with legal requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Master’s degree in HRM or an HR-related discipline is a plus.
Extensive experience in HR management roles, preferably in a senior or leadership position.
In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership and people management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven experience in talent acquisition and recruitment.
Experience in designing and implementing performance management systems.
Familiarity with compensation and benefits administration.
Understanding of HR metrics and data analysis.
Up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and industry trends.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is desirable but not mandatory.
