RESPONSIBILITIES
Installing, configuring, and managing Appian systems and other application software in the test, production, and training environment.
Manage performance tuning of servers and data servers, which includes writing performance monitoring scripts as well as designing and implementing processes to communicate and publish system status
Monitor business process execution and data associated with those processes.
Monitor the performance of system components and transactions, troubleshoot application problems.
Recover the application after system outages and disaster incidents.
Administer system security and user accounts.
Report incidents and provide any additional information required to resolve reported incidents
Schedule and coordinate system backups with the appropriate technical teams.
Coordinate and implement the policies for the use of the Appian system and its related hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
Good understanding and experience in Appian administration (Must Have).
Good knowledge of OpenShift containers, GIT platform, Bitbucket, Cygwin, PowerShell, building and deploying applications in OpenShift.
Good to know Service Now ticketing platform, incident management, change management procedures.
The Admin should have Strong hands-on development experience in any BPM tools like Appian iBPM for at least 6+ years.
Support Appian platform by providing key data metrics, supporting end users and managing bug fixes by closely working with development team.
Perform administration activities involves deployment of code to all the environments, managing all the connections to upstreams and downstream and maintaining the platform with high availability.
