Work you’ll do
The FDSC Dev QA plays the crucial role of developing and testing the applications that are utilized by the rest of the FDSC team for the above-mentioned purposes. The Development group is broken into a few internal functions. The core development team programs and supports the internally developed strategic assets for the FDSC. This can also include many of the ways we have extended the functionality of existing technologies, such as Automation of loading data.
The Team
The Discovery Integrator QA team is dedicated to testing the quality of internal software applications and tools and how they may integrate with third party applications. The team is process oriented and test across projects developed in methodologies such as Agile to ensure consistent quality results. The QA team is responsible for various testing initiatives such as identifying and setting up baseline project test data, high level scenarios, test design, test execution, and defect management. Some of the core types of testing covered during the development testing lifecycle consist of Unit, Functional, Regression, Smoke, Integration, System, End to end, Exploratory, UAT, and Production verification.
Qualifications
Required:
Candidate should have overall 4 to 6 years of QA experience.
Strong process knowledge, prior experience in defining and establishing testing practice for one or more clients.
Good knowledge and experience of performing and leading different phases of testing, including test automation.
Metrics driven and ability to monitor, track and show improvements on testing activities.
Ability to present suggestions, roadmap items for overall testing practice to the leadership team
Experience working with QA test tools (Microsoft Test Manager/Quick Test Professional/Selenium/Visual Studio 2017/2019 and Microsoft Azure is preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate.
Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically for QA processes in Agile development environments.
To work under pressure, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary support to the team.
Good research skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage the test preparation, test cycles test environment
Ability to define the testing strategy and framework to ensure a high standard of testing.
Qualifications –
Desired Qualifications (Extra, but not required)
Domain experience in the field of eDiscovery or Litigation Support.
Familiarity with Discovery protocols for civil litigation in the US legal system.
Familiarity with eDiscovery technologies such as Relativity, IPRO, or NUIX.
