Financial Acoounting Manager, GFS GPO
The Team
Global Finance Services uses the latest technology and insights to provide Deloitte with a fully-managed, global financial solution. We develop world-class processes that drive efficiency and effectiveness to ensure consistency and compliance across our global network.
Work you’ll do
Global Finance Services (GFS) is Deloitte’s newly formed global organization that uses the latest generation SAP S4 technology to provide several participating member firms with a fully managed finance shared service. This effort is part of the SWIFT program, a multi-year finance transformation program globally.
Purpose of the role:
The Global Process Owners support and maintains the integrity of the global S4 template functionality and processes with a focus on further globalization and standardization. Appropriate governance and integration with Member Firm priorities needs, to be delivered as the template grows and evolves through future deployments and advancements to the template. The Global Process Owner supports the onboarding efforts through requirements validation, immersion education of the SWIFT platform, and functional solutioning of the requirements. The team works through solutions and enhancements to the template as well as supporting the overall migration of future countries onto the global template.
Key Responsibilities
Advises and collaborates with business and process area representatives from participating member firms, DTTL, and GFS to identify and implement new initiativesDemonstrates in-depth knowledge of the global template with the ability to socialize the designFoster adoption of consistent and centralized global processesFacilitate business requirements and process review activities related to the key functionality required by the business globallyThis process team role will primarily handle onboarding geographies (Asia Pacific and/or EMEA regions) in the related area of Accounts Payable Processing, Managing the General Ledger, Indirect Tax, or Treasury.
Relationship Management/Influence
Building and maintaining relationships and networks with leadership and clients of GFSWorks across the different GFS teams and Member Firms to ensure cross-functional alignment, shares best practices, and supports continuous improvement, leveraging ideas from the process operators as appropriate
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA Preferred
Experience Required:
5+ years of related professional service experienceExperience of SAP and advanced Microsoft Office packages are essentialExcellent program/project management skills; Ability to think both strategically and tacticallyExcellent financial management skills; specialized skills and experiences may be required relative to operations/process excellence.Ability to bring a business perspective to defining long-term sustainable solutions for the global program and advancement of the global templateDemonstrated ability to build relationships and networks with leadership and clients
Qualifications
Proven track record within the Deloitte network of member firms OR successful experience working in a comparable global organization requiredCan interpret business objectives to deliver outcomes that fulfill these business objectivesAbility to work under constantly changing conditions and tight deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to and collaborate with clients and business leadersDemonstrated experience leading and interacting with virtual teams across multiple time zones and in a matrix organizationHas an understanding of risk driversDemonstrated experience of working across cultures and countries and a working knowledge of communication/ engagement stylesSuccessfully seizes opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of own departmentDemonstrated success in setting and meeting personal and organizational goals.Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Experience of the core Microsoft Office packages is essentialOutstanding attention to detailAbility to be self-directed and responsiveTeam player who can work with teams within a global, matrixed environment
Location: Hyderabad
Work timings: 2PM to 11PM
