Senior HR Data Governance Advisor
HR Data Governance within the HR Technology team is committed to consistently exceed our customers’ expectations for quality, service, innovation, and interaction. The team is accountable to drive data governance and entitlements initiatives for HR and ensure adherence to the new firm wide governance policies.
What you’ll achieve
As a Sr. Advisor, HR Data Governance You will be working with the Data Governance Strategy & Implementation lead to manage work prioritization and delivery of the HR Data Governance and programs as well as the operation of data compliance adoption into new HR Systems and Projects. She/he will work on best practices and methodologies for working with the Dell Technologies HR data. They will also work with other data engineers, project managers, product managers to create new connections to the system, build lineage and relationships, upgrade master data management, provide insights to data related projects associated with HR Technology strategy road map. She/he will assist in driving initiatives both internally and within cross-functional teams within HR and downstream.
You Will:
Support Governance Lead in implementing the strategy and ensure adherence to the Global HR Governance practices
Lead Governance in configuring connections to new HR Systems, build lineage across data and processes, develop glossaries/definitions and effectively visualize data
Provide recommendations and best practices for data element, data definitions, business rule writing, and metadata management procedures; Co-ordinate with IT and drive archival and maintenance of Legacy HR Systems into ILM
Serve as a liaison between HR and IT in effectively implementing Governance related strategies .
Lead training sessions for the HR Data management teams owners on roles and responsibilities under the Governance Program (Governance platform:Collibra,Data Archival Platform:ILM)
Oversight and collaboration with stakeholder’s adherence to guidelines and protocols for effectively managing the data assets with the HR Data owners. Strong experience with MS Excel (proficient in the use of functions, macros, pivot tables) and PowerPoint. Aptitude for learning new systems and technologies

Essential Requirements:
6 years of experience working on Data Governance,Data Modeling or Data Quality a must
Proven project management experience is a plus
Knowledge of REST APIs using mule or associated integration softwares (Boomi etc). Experience with scripting languages (Groovy, Python and VBA)
Familiar with Data Governance and Lineage tools (i.e. Collibra and Manta); Expertise in Collibra Data Governance is desirable. Familiarity with HR data is a plus
Knowledge of Workday reporting, Tableau, PowerBI or associated reporting tools. Advanced skills with complex SQL queries
Knowledge of ETL concepts (Hands on experience is an added advantage)
Ability to solve business problems independently and in an agile team environment (HR customer knowledge is an added advantage)
Bachelor’s Degree is required; Master’s degree is desired.
Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. Experience managing stakeholder relationships, including developing and implementing robust and innovative data related roadmaps. Ability to communicate ideas and data both verbally and written in a persuasive and appropriate manner. Ability to solicit information from stakeholders at various levels of the organization and ability to prioritize, organize and manage deadlines; attention to detail and critical thinking is a must
