Scientists are experienced applied data scientists, passionate about using
machine learning to achieve real-world results. As a Data Scientist at
DataRobot, you will collaborate closely with DataRobot customers to bring
expertise in data science and the DataRobot platform to help customers achieve
their organization’s objectives with AI. You’ll work with clients in a range
of industries on diverse use cases, and with both business (executive, line of
business) and technical (data science, engineering, analytics) stakeholders.
**Responsibilities**
Be the DataRobot product and data science subject matter expert to our customers by leading implementation, advising on the viability and execution of use cases, helping to develop Joint Success Plans (JSP), and leading the execution of them.Ensure the success of our customers by helping to achieve quantifiable Value Realisation Indicators – Leading to renewals / expansions furthering the growth of both our customers and DataRobotAct as a trusted advisor on AI across the customer lifecycle; enable customers to solve complex data science problems using DataRobot including problem framing, data preparation, scripting, model building, model deployment, model management, and output consumptionWork side-by-side with our sales and success teams to help our customers achieve their JSP and quantify the business impact of itIdentify opportunities to expand our relationship with customersAct internally as the voice of the customer to the Product, Engineering, and Marketing teamsPresent at conferences and/or help create other marketing content
**Requirements**
4+ years of experience either in a PreSales role (and with a motivation to learn Data Science) or in Data Science/predictive modeling. Strong candidate with 2+ years as a PreSales Data Scientist will also be considered2+ years of experience in customer facing roleBachelor’s degree, preferably in a quantitative subject* Hands-on experience building and implementing machine learning or AI modelsExperience collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure that machine learning solutions deliver successfully on business outcomesStrong customer interaction, communication, writing and interpersonal skillsExcellent project management and organizational abilitiesFamiliarity with a variety of technical tools for the manipulation of dataFluency with scripting in Python or R (preferably both)Regional travel may be required
