What Are You Good At?
Manage supplier contracts and any modifications within contracts (expiration dates, renewals).
Review existing contracts and gather business requirements to formulate sourcing strategies and planning for renewals.
Assist to establish vendor life-cycle strategy to oversee planning, sourcing, and selection of new suppliers, manage data for vendor performance and manage vendor off-boarding and transition.
Interact with key stakeholders in identifying business needs, building relationships, and selling the features and benefits of early procurement involvement.
Implement procurement processes to ensure efficiency, cost savings and best practices.
Work with the finance team throughout the procurement cycle to assist with forecasting and budgeting.
Work with the legal team on licencing and contractual terms.
Provide updates about procurement related progress and potential delays daily to the Manager.
What Experience Do You Bring?
Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years experience in technology procurement, commercial negotiation and end to end sourcing.
Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and equipment.
A thorough understanding of procurement principles and strategies.
Strong negotiator and ability to deal effectively with suppliers in various indirect categories. Strong analytical skills and understanding of fundamental financial concepts.
Understanding of business controls policies, processes, and procedures.
Strong understanding of SaaS licencing and subscription models, and managing relationships with suppliers.
This position requires close review of complex documentation and interaction with international vendors and customers – strong written and verbal English communication skills is required.
Familiarity with standard contract agreement types – such as, but not limited to, Terms of Service (TOS), Terms of Use (TOU), Terms and Conditions (T&C), Privacy Policy, Data Processing Addendum (DPA), Order Forms, etc.
