Position Overview: We seek highly qualified and passionate tutors to join our AP Subject Specialist Tutors team. Tutors will be responsible for providing one-on-one instruction to high school students preparing for the following AP subjects:

• AP Art History
• AP Chinese Language and Culture
• AP Drawing
• AP Japanese Language and Culture
• AP Research
• AP Seminar
• AP Spanish Literature and Culture
• AP German Literature and Culture
• AP Italian Language and Culture
• AP English Language and Composition
• AP Latin
• AP Psychology
• AP United States Government and Politics
• AP Environmental Science

As an AP Subject Specialist Tutor, you will guide students through the curriculum, help with exam preparation, and provide personalized feedback to improve their understanding and performance in AP courses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive online lessons tailored to the student’s learning pace and style.
• Provide in-depth explanations of complex topics in AP subjects, ensuring students are well-prepared for the AP exams.
• Assign, review, and provide feedback on practice exams, essays, research projects, and other coursework.
• Develop customized study plans and resources for students to help them meet their academic goals.
• Encourage critical thinking and independent learning in students while supporting their overall academic growth.
• Monitor student progress and adapt lesson plans accordingly.
• Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with the AP curriculum, exam formats, and teaching best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Expertise in one or more of the following AP subjects:Art History, Chinese Language and Culture, Drawing, Japanese Language and Culture, Research, Seminar, Spanish Literature and Culture, United States Government and Politics, Environmental Science.
• Previous experience in tutoring or teaching AP subjects is preferred.
• Familiarity with the AP exam structure and requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet the individual needs of students.
• Reliable internet connection and experience with online tutoring platforms.
• Passion for education and commitment to student success.
