Role Description:
A technology professional who understands software development and can solve IT Operational & Deployment challenges using software engineering tools and processes. This position requires understanding of both Software development (Dev) & Deployment Operations (Ops).
The candidate must have at least 1-2 years of working experience in DevOps.
The candidate must understand the overall business requirements and based on it, design and develop the overall solution.
The candidate must also have good communication and interpersonal skills to work with different teams and to understand their requirements and come up with a deployment design.
The candidate must identify manual process and automate them using various DevOps automation tools.
The candidate must maintain organization’s growing cloud infrastructure.
We heavily use modern tools like Docker, Kubernetes, ELK Stack, MongoDB. Having knowledge of these tools will be an added advantage.
We fully rely on CI/CD Automation tools like Jenkins for our day-to-day deployment activities for our application services.
We utilize Jenkins to automate creation of Docker Images, and deploy them into Kubernetes in a fully automated approach.
Primary Skills:
Basic understanding of AWS cloud.
Basic understanding of GITHUB and GIT commands
Proficiency in writing Shell scripts with good knowledge on Linux commands.
Experience in CICD operations
Knowledge on any noSQL/SQL databases would be added advantage.
Basic understanding of docker commands.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Secondary Skills:
Hands on working knowledge on AWS cloud services such as EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, Route53 etc.
Basic Understanding of Helm charts deployment, Spinnaker.
Knowledge on Jenkins/Jenkins Pipeline/GITHUB actions.
Cloud certification in AWS/Azure/Kubernetes would be an added advantage.
