Position Summary

• Daily perform eCommerce returns and Safe-T, Seller Protection Fund (SPF) claims process D2C eCommerce warehouses in Mumbai
• Develop and maintain relationships with external selling platforms and technology service providers to reduce returns and processing time
• Streamline return technology integrations; create and improve warehouse processes related to returns operations including in-warding, processing, and reinstating

Objectives

• The role works with the Sr of D2C eCommerce return operations and works very closely with selling platforms (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho), technology services providers, logistics aggregators, business teams, warehouse operations, finance, and merchandising team

• Reduce D2C eCommerce returns with close coordination with Merchandising, Operations, and Selling platforms
• Create and streamline SPF claims processes, and improve data visibility using tools like Excel
• Help resolve new/recurring D2C eCommerce tech issues by conducting root cause analysis of the problems with different tech teams of selling platforms, and technology service providers and take up technology improvements with the respective players
• Coordinate with Order Management System (OSA) and Warehouse Management System (WMS) providers to create features required to make operations efficient
• Process returned merchandise.
• Using a computer, will update systems with appropriate data.
• Understand “return to stock” physical and cosmetic requirements.
• Make judgment calls on what constitutes ‘new’ and acceptable.
• Sort and organize all incoming, unprocessed packages.

Qualifications and Functional Competencies

• First Preference Engineers Diploma/ B.Tech ( Mechanical /other Engg Streams )
• Experience in the e-commerce industry – Returns/Business/Tech/Operations
• Advanced analytics – background/advance excel skills are preferable
• Mandatory Excellent written communication skills in english required.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of inventory management systems is a plus.
