About The Role

We are looking for a new IT Operations Engineer to join our IT Operations team in India. We were awarded the 2022 Technology Innovation Leader for Global Digital Industrial Platforms. Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver Cognite’s service desk and onsite support services in India.
• Hands-on desktop engineering for Mac and Windows devices
• Globally manage your share of the global organization’s first-line and second-line support requests.
• Support development of automation
• Drive and deliver improvement projects
• Support the organization with the governance of our 150+ SaaS applications
• Create efficient operating methods to adhere to policies and principles for extensive compliance requirements
• Documenting IT processes in our knowledge base
• Collaborate and leverage the organization’s expertise for efficient IT operations.

• You have experience working first-line IT operation support as a hands-on desktop engineer
• You are a team player who loves to share, inspire, and collaborate
• You are eager and ready to work onsite in our new office location in Bangalore.
• You have relevant technical skills and contribute to the team’s tasks
• You are service-minded and are energized by spending time with your colleagues

Cognite IT Support Scope and Info

• We support appr. 700 IT users
• We provide onsite support in Norway, the US, and soon India.
• We provide remote support for other locations (e.g., Japan, US)
• We contribute in the governance of 150 + SaaS applications as well as the cloud infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure
• We have no traditional server infrastructure
• The user base is approximately 70%+ Mac, 5% Linux, and 25% Windows users
• Our main productivity tools are Slack, Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, Miro, Trello, M365, Github, Terraform
