What You’ll Do 

We have a phenomenal opportunity for a Software Engineer who wants to apply and grow their technical skills as you deliver new capabilities using groundbreaking technologies and processes and hone your collaboration and leadership skills as you work with a team of hardworking engineers and interact with business partners.

• Day-to-day development activities like writing, modifying and debugging software, and primarily focus on custom development tasks on the Partner Programs platform 

• Design and build reusable components and help enhance test coverage to avoid security vulnerabilities as well.

• Responsible for developing in Java and other technologies in order to support business requirements

• Perform independent code reviews and certify code developed by self and other junior team members on the project

• Build, develop, test and support custom solutions and integrations

• Perform automated unit testing and groom juniors for a quality mindset. 

• Investigate and resolve highly complex issues and guide team for shift left of defects

• Write documentation as needed.

• Follow applicable standards, procedures, guidelines, and methodologies in the support, documentation and/or maintenance of systems

Who You’ll Work With

You’ll be part of a highly dynamic and empowered team of collaborative engineers, technical leads, architects, business systems analysts who are passionate about building, supporting and enhancing our partner platforms. You will interact with key business partners in Channel related Sales, Legal, Finance, Business Operations, and Customer/Partner Experience teams. You will align your work with the project team and multi-functional programs related to Recurring Revenue Growth, Partner Experience and New Routes to Market. In addition, you will work with the business and technical architecture groups, Product Owners, Release Train Engineers and leads from the Enterprise Release Management Office along with operational leaders responsible for Sales and Partner Operations.

A hardworking, experienced and self-motivated IT professional who enjoys digging into complicated problems and exploring details of technical implementations. Someone who has a clear passion for solving functional challenges using technology and thrives in bringing transparency to ambiguous and business critical situations. A standout colleague capable of influencing within and outside of the team, as well as being an agent for change and transformation. Someone with an ability to take the lead in developing business solutions and clearly communicating complex concepts.

 

Our minimum requirements are as follows:

• Bachelors in Computer Science or other relevant Engineering Bachelors with strong Computer Science AND 7+ years of professional experience designing and building software applications, OR

• Masters in Computer Science or other relevant Engineering Bachelors with strong Computer Science AND 4+ years of professional experience designing and building software applications

• 5+ years of Core Java Development experience

• Proven understanding of key automation tools architectural concepts and how they influence design

• Experience with custom integrations

• Strong knowledge of Agile development methodology with a quality mindset

• Experience with CI/CD pipeline utilizing Jenkins automation, development and infrastructure tools including Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Jenkins, and Git

• Solid communication and organizational skills, and ability to work successfully in a team environment

• PL/SQL experience
