CIB – Securities Services Operations – Fund Accounting Specialist – Team Leader Job At Mumbai Full Time

APAC Client Onboarding and Accounting Transitions team is responsible for managing various onboarding and fund events across Mutual and Pension space. The various fund events involve setting up Funds Static data on Accounting and Ancillary system, coordinate with respective utilities / hubs for system setups, sign offs. Team is also responsible in ensuring timely and accurate processing of New Client Onboarding /In species / Mergers / Restructures / Transition IN / Transition OUT / Fund Closures and Funds static Data updates / amends.

Main Duties and Responsibilities :

• As a Team Leader in Global Funds Services, you will :
• Ensure adequate contribution in various Fund Events performed by the team.
• Perform test checks on quality of operations
• Draft & ensure SOPs are current
• Drive resolution of exceptions with ORM / management
• Lead and ensure completion of daily activities are timely.
• Audit compliance and co-operation
• Contribute / Implement efficiency and/ or controls improvement initiatives
• Participate in L&D sessions
• New Client Onboarding

Qualifications

• Graduate / Post graduate with 4/5 years’ experience preferably in Financial Sector industry
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work in a deadline driven environment
• Client focused
• Uses initiative and readily questions
• Strong analytical skills
• Numerical thought process
• Control orientated
• Proficient use of MS office
• Flexibility to work on holidays / extended working hours on high volume days, if required
