The Role: IT Business Operations Associate
The IT Business Operations Associate will be primarily responsible for managing IT Hardware and Software assets throughout the entire lifecycle.
As part of our global IT Business Operations team, you will partner with the Service Desk, Finance and IT management teams to ensure our hardware and software spend are on budget and well accounted for.
The ideal candidate is experienced with procurement processes, Hardware and Software lifecycle management, and vendor/contract negotiation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Managing vendor relationships and negotiating deals to identify cost savings opportunities.
Collaborating with peers on global hardware and software policies to ensure alignment.
Maintaining the software renewal calendar.
Performing regular Assetdb audits.
Forecasting, maintaining, and tracking IT spend through summarized reports.
Managing the laptop refresh program.
Managing the disposition of EOL assets.
Managing and tracking software licenses, contracts, and renewals.
Managing the IT procurement process for laptops, peripherals, software and SaaS.
Ensuring compliance with local and international laws and financial standards.
Identifying and implementing process changes or system workflow development.
Working on IT Asset Management related ticket requests.
Creating or refreshing process documentation.
Communicating IT asset management related policies, processes, or guidelines to the internal Support team.
Requirements
5+ years experience in a corporate technical environment
3+ years hardware asset experience
3+ years software asset experience
3+ years vendor experience
