Manager, Accounts Payable
What You Will Be Doing
We are looking for a full time Accounts Payable Analyst- for Accounting Shared service role. This role will play an integral part in the day-to-day Accounts Payable operations including month-end close, with opportunities to work on various projects as we scale. We are looking to add high achieving, detail-oriented accounts payable professionals to our growing office.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
Responsible for processing invoices accurately and timely
Ensure outstanding AP transactions are reconciled in a timely and accurate manner in order to ensure prompt payment to vendors
Resolve outstanding issues that prevent supplier payments
Recognize possible entry errors and bring them up to management in order to ensure proper training is given to these individuals.
Provide supporting documents for audit
Work cooperatively and collaboratively with internal associates and external vendors
Ability to work closely with others as a team player with a positive attitude, willingness to help others and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Administration of our Procurement tool: manage and maintain improvements, user creation.
Train & inform users and correct requisitions & PO inserted by purchasers/users.
Review and process invoices along with providing the resolutions for the invoices and releasing the invoices for Payment.
Enforce the internal compliance policy and guideline established by the management on their daily operational activities.
Ensure compliance with SOX controls.
Month-end closing coordination for all subsidiaries.
Prepare documentation to support external audit.
Collaborate with the business, finance and Internal Audit to improve the regional internal controls.
Work cooperatively and collaboratively with internal associates and external vendors.
Review and collaborate with Accounts Payable team on invoices for proper GL, department and class code combination.
Maintains an excellent level of verbal and written communication with Accounts Payable team and the Purchasing department.
Demonstrate ability of time management with strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements
Com/M. Com with minimum 5-6 years experience in a Shared Service environment
Passion for end-to-end procurement, payment process and improvements
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Passion and a strong interest in technology
Proficiency in Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Window software skills
NetSuite experience a plus
Experience in COUPA a plus
Strong understanding of financial and operational controls
Understanding of Dutch & German language.
Demonstrate ability of time management with strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
