Position: Numeracy Manager & Content Developer, MP FLN Reform

Position Summary
The team works in collaboration with State Education Departments to bring reform by
implementing large-scale system-led projects with the goal of improving student learning
outcomes. Our team supports the State to design and implement an integrated program which
encompasses multiple critical aspects of a reform process ranging from building effective classroom
pedagogy to working with the state to build salience and necessary state capacity to deliver FLN at
scale, while also strengthening governance and other key enablers that are critical for the reform.
CSF along with a coalition of partners including The Education Alliance, Sol’s Arc for numeracy and
Room To Read for literacy, have entered into a long-term engagement with the Education
Department of Madhya Pradesh for system reform and has set up a Project Management Unit
(PMU) to deliver it.
The position will be part of the PMU team and based out of Rajya Shiksha Kendra, Bhopal for the
duration of the project (a minimum of 2 years until planned exit from State) and might require
frequent travel within the state. The role reports to the State Numeracy Lead.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to
training modules and TLM for early grades in consultation with Sol’s ARC, the central

suggestions for improving quality and utilization of these materials.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
Mathematics/ Numeracy Education, with solid understanding of research-based
approaches to teaching Numeracy. Candidates with a B. El. Ed. qualification will be
preferred.

Compensation:
