Position Title: FGW Inventory Control Analyst

Location: Bangalore, KA-India

General Purpose

The incumbent of this job title is responsible of the efficient move of materials and components inside the productive areas and in the system.

• Takes control of all the existent counts inside the facility (schedule and not schedule) to ensure the accurate register of the inventories, aligned to the objectives of the administration of inventories and to the goals of the company such as adjustments, negatives, inventories turns and its veracity.

• Significant experience using SAP S4/HANA is required for this position.

  Purpose and Environment Highlights
  
  

• This position reports to the Supervisor of Requirement and initiator of processes.
  

• Guarantee the accurate register of reception, move and distribution of materials and give the needed basic material to an efficient control of inventory and schedule the production.
• Coordinating the reception and storage of the materials inside the designated area, to ensure the ubication, quantity and correct name.
  
• Administrate and control the program of selective annual counting.
• Designate the necessary resources to this program, monitor adjustments weekly, aligned the indicators of the counts to the goals of the company.
  

• Monitor and adjust to the procedures of counts per discrepancy
• Keep control of the indicators of all the counts per discrepancy requested by the incumbent departments. These counts must be registered and be corrected by cause in its type.
  
• Take control in the negatives generated in the diffents ubications of the company.
  
• Accomplish “0” negatives in the inventories, caused by the wrong movement of the inventory of the system.
  
• Generate a counting based in the code ABC (costs , Lead time and Use) in order to track the components more dispensable of the productive areas.
• According to their cost, lead time and use the components more dispensable will be track in order to avoid major issues in the productive lines.
  
• Track and control the inventories of the finished product and steels.
• In team with the production Coordinator, the incumbent will have a weekly and monthly vision of the security inventories generated in the backyards, because they represent the products of higher cost inside the company.
  
• Monitor of turns of inventory inside the company.
• In a weekly and monthly way, the incumbent will develop an initiator in which he will measure the turns of the inventory of the material bought, steels, backyards plus the total turns of inventory of the company.
  
• This position is responsible of the administration, supply and Distribution of the materials in a specific area.
  
  The incumbent internally Works with the General Supervisors of Production and Line Supervisors to start and give feedback to the program of selective counting and for discrepancy, with the warehouse to keep in control the bought material and steels, with the Production Coordinator to keep following the safety inventories with NPI and Releasing for the generation of forms of prototype material.
• The main decisions of the incumbent is the selection of part numbers that will enter in the code ABC, define when will proceed and make an adjustment in change of an inventory.
• The main challenge of the incumbent is to keep the veracity of the inventories inside de 95% established, and obtain the certification Class A in the inventories, keep the turns of inventory inside the guidelines of the company with interdepartmental teams and works schedules to adequate to the needs of production of the company.
• Avoiding stoppage of production for missing materials or inadequate registers in the inventories.
• The freedom of act by the incumbent is over the general procedures of the company.
• For the performance of this position is required a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering with minimum experience in a year of inventories or with knowledge of MRP, with qualities of leadership and ability of organization in the job.
