PROJECT DETAILS
CARE India is implementing a CSR project on behalf of the leading CSR foundation of am energy and petrochemical corporate. The following activities have been identified for the Project to be executed through CARE India:
Field level assessment and report submission.
Formation of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and their subsequent account opening.
Training of new and existing SHGs for their capacity building.
Handholding of the newly formed SHGs and existing SHGs.
Identification of potential SHGs for Enterprise support, Feasibility study/market viability for finalization of enterprise followed up by Enterprise Specific training.
Enterprise support/market linkage and handholding to the existing HMF funded enterprises and newly initiated enterprises.
Maintenance of financial records pertaining to the income generation of the running enterprises and subsequent expenses.
Designing of Standard operating procedures in coordination with HMF related to group operations – Exit of members, withdrawal of savings/enterprise contribution, addition of new members along with treatment of savings/enterprise contribution, enterprise operations etc.
Monitoring, evaluation and documentation of all the SHGs along with their enterprises (if any).
Follow up with existing SHGs for their contribution into Enterprises and ensuring the contribution by SHGs in newly proposed enterprises.
Submission of Reports by CARE INDIA.

JOB SUMMARY
MIS & Documentation Coordinator is to be primarily contracted for 11 months (may be extended as per need/ requirement) to support the project team and project office operations located in Talwani Saboo Block in Bathinda District, Punjab. MIS & Documentation Coordinator’s main coordinating point is the Project Manager and Impact Measurement Unit to ensure smooth functioning of the project. The position will ensure faster and efficient process management at the project office level.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Support – responsible for quality data management and maintenance database.
Support to the Project team in regarding training the Field Staffs, CLWs/ Animators on.
MIS report data cumulation, validation analysis based on reports provided by Field Officer and prepare monthly progress reports.
Collection, review and finalize documentation of case studies with support from PM.
Quality Data Collection through paper and IT based processes.
Data validation and data cleaning before uploading the data on the MIS.
Support PM/FO with data for Documentation (Blogs etc.)
Prepare the monthly and quarterly reporting compiling the information shared when require.
Data Collection- conduct regular on-site monitoring for collection of inputs for case stories, process monitoring and outcome tracking.
Triangulate collected data/ information in consultation with the field team.
Field visits to reach community, assess community feedback and validation of MIS Report.
Support the project, including coordination with third party agencies for field data collection, MIS reporting, capacity building, assistance to the Program Manager for preparation of annual reports, etc.
Where required browse and access data.
Use GPS / GIS applications and devices for data management.
Data Analysis – responsible for generation of primary reports
Develop formats/templates for data collection as per direction.
Ensure quality, integrity and efficiency of data collection.
Ensure cleaning, cross check and validation of data.
Design and management of databases.
Analyze and interpret data through MS-Excel (Advance), SPSS and other statistical packages.
Support in accessing information for reporting.
Writing Monthly Reports and success stories/project learning.
DESIRED PROFILE
A competent data management professional either fresher or with up to 3 years’ experience of working with any NGO or with private sector in IT based service provider ecosystem.
Self-motivated to engage support teams and assist in processes.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Essential:
Minimum graduate in Business Administration / Computer Application / Commerce / Database management / Business Management and any other relevant field.
Fresher candidates can apply for this profile.
Preferred:
Experience in MS-Excel (Advanced), SPSS and or other quantitative and qualitative analytical package.
Prior experience of monitoring and evaluation, research work is preferred.
Have sound knowledge on documentation and proven skills on documentation of project learning.
Demonstrable experience in quantitative and/or qualitative research
Knowledge of Hindi and English is a must. Candidates with proficiency in Punjabi will be preferred.
